Duante Miller known by his artist name “ Mixxedboy “ was born & raised in San Diego, CA.

Mixxedboy learned music was going to be his walk of life at a very young age. Being raised by a single mother & living in a house hold we’re a lot of 90’s R&B & Hiphop was played made an impact on his sound today. His first record was recorded his freshman year in high school with two of his cousins which lead to starting a group called “ Y.A.F “ ( Young & Fitted ). This was the beginning of his musical journey. Mixxedboy & his cousins started to perform at quinceañeras & house parties.

Making their group name well known at their high schools was fun while it lasted but Mixxedboy never stopped pursuing his music career. Even after some of his cousins stopped making music he kept going & got into several more groups years down the line until about 7 years ago he started to pursue his career as a solo artist. Not only has he discovered his own sound but he has also created his own genre of music with his very unique style of this melodic rap that he does in most of his records.

 

Mixxedboy is a singer / songwriter / rapper / producer & engineer who has worked & collaborated with various artists, producers and engineers over the course of his career. One of his singles “ Home Sick “ was produced by a friend who goes by Onlysinger & engineered by Shawn Jarrett “ Source “ who is a 2x Grammy award winning Multi platinum Producer & engineer. Mixxedboy has recorded records in Los Angeles out of Paramount , Ultrium & other various professional & home studios. He has also performed in a lot of different venues & places some of which being The house of blues, Coko Bongo in Tijuana, EDM / HipHop Festivals & various clubs in both Los Angeles and San Diego.

Currently Mixxedboy has a debut album called “ Loyal to Myself “ that is set to Release on October 20th.
